With more than 20 years of commercial experience in shipbroking, Kyriakos Lyginos possesses extensive expertise across international maritime markets. He holds a BSc in Photonics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
He began his career in Athens with Optima Shipbrokers, and in 2009, he was invited to establish and lead the Tanker Desk at the reputable Paris-based brokerage Socomet Sales, with a primary focus on West African (WAF) markets.
In June 2013, Kyriakos Lyginos founded Antares Shipbrokers DMCC, followed by the establishment of Rock Marine in 2018, and Petra Shipmanagement LTD in 2022, further strengthening his presence in shipping.
