Kyriakos Lyginos

With more than 20 years of commercial experience in shipbroking, Kyriakos Lyginos possesses extensive expertise across international maritime markets. He holds a BSc in Photonics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.He began his career in Athens with Optima Shipbrokers, and in 2009, he was invited to establish and lead the Tanker Desk at the reputable Paris-based brokerage Socomet Sales, with a primary focus on West African (WAF) markets.In June 2013, Kyriakos Lyginos founded Antares Shipbrokers DMCC, followed by the establishment of Rock Marine in 2018, and Petra Shipmanagement LTD in 2022, further strengthening his presence in shipping.

Matina Vlachogianni

Matina, is in charge of Rock Marine SA dry bulk chartering since 2020, fixing ships starting from the smaller coaster sizes, through handy/hmax, up to ultramax/panamax tonnage as well off market cargoes. Has decades of experience in the shipping sector, having started working in well established shipbroking companies as early as 1989. More than three decades later, she has graduated into a veteran dry cargo chartering broker with numerous fixtures under her belt. She brings to our company a wealth of knowledge, she is passionate about, and committed to providing the highest level and firm services to our clients.

Mirela Kapetanidou

Mirela brings with her more than 20 years experience within the shipping industry. Throughout her career, she has been fully immersed with Tanker Operations and Chartering namely crude oil vessels, product carriers and chemical tankers. She has served as Commercial and Operations Manager within prominent private and publicly listed entities. Mirela holds a BSc in Transport & Shipping in addition to being a holder of MSc in International Trade & Transport from the Metropolitan University of London. Mirela joined Antares in September 2024 as Operations Manager and embraces the challenge of expanding and driving our business forward.

Aggeliki Pantou

Aggeliki joined Rock Marine SA in 2022. She is a fourth year student in the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus. Since joining Rock Marine SA as an intern, she has since been employed as a full time junior operator.

Makis Papachristos

Makis graduated from the University of Piraeus with an MSc in Shipping Economics & Business. He has gained valuable experience within the Shipping sector for a number of years and since September 2020 has been in charge of Claims at Rock Marine SA.

Nicholas Meimarides

HR MANAGER

Born and raised in London, Nicholas holds a joint honors degree in Business Economics & French from Oxford Brookes University. In 2006 he moved to Greece and now combines his previous experience from a recruitment background with his current shipping experience. Nicholas has been appointed as the HR Manager since 2023 in order to ensure continual training, development and wellbeing of all personnel.

Isabella Lyginou

After completing her bachelor studies abroad, Isabella obtained a further qualification in Dry Chartering with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers of Athens. She worked in a shipping company for 2 years before transitioning to yachting, firstly at SSH Maritime, followed by Burgess where she formed an integral part assisting their Charter & Sales team. Isabella joined Rock Marine in 2019 where she is focused on the management and business development of Company in addition to her role as director of accounts.

Agapi Isoeva

QUALITY MANAGER

agapi Agapi is the Quality Manager of Rock Marine SA since 2023. Having more than a decade of experience within the maritime industry in various leading Greek firms, she has garnered an invaluable background in all functions and services of the shipping industry, gaining valuable skills in Maritime Technical management, Safety & Quality and other fields. She graduated from the Naval Architecture of the University of West Attica (UNIWA) of Applied Sciences (School of Engineering). She ensures that our services are planned and performed in a standard and controlled way, following specific and defined procedures in the terms of our Quality System, which is consistent with the ISO 9001:2015 Standard and that all personnel will always adhere to the Quality System’s procedures and principles at their day-to-day activity.

Jacquelyn Torres

Graduate of Accountancy in AMA Computer Learning Center Philippines. Currently studying BS Business Management in Buckinghamshire New University in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. With 12 years of work experience in accounts. Joined last June 2024, and in charge of the operational accounts and office administration of the company.

Ioanna Falangari

ACCOUNTS

Ioanna graduated from the University of Macedonia with a BSc in International & European Studies with a specialization in International & European Economics. She later continued her education at the University of Piraeus, where she graduated with an MSc in Business & Shipping Management. In 2019 she joined the Angelicoussis Group in Athens where she started her career. She specialised in the Finance & Economics sector. From there she continued as a Cost Control Analyst within a well known international hotel management company. Ioanna returned to the maritime shipping sector when she joined Rock Marine in June 2024 within accounts.
